What happens at your first appointment?
You book online and pick the service, so the artist knows what is coming before you walk in. The room is white, the ceiling is open, and the wall of polish runs from nude to cherry to chrome, so choosing a colour is the first thing you do. If you are wearing an old set, it comes off properly, filed thin and soaked, never peeled, and that ten minutes is already in your booking if you added removal. Then the shape. Almond, coffin, square, short and clean or long and sculpted, the artist files to your hand and checks both sides match. Colour is gel, cured under the lamp, so you leave dry. Art comes last: a French line, an ombre fade, a cat eye streak, or the sculpted chrome and crystals the house is known for. You pay what the menu said. Nothing is added at the chair without asking first.

Questions
Questions people ask before they book.
How much are acrylic nails in Caringbah at Glam House?
Classic acrylic is from $65, colour powder acrylic from $75 and builder gel from $80. Each takes 45 minutes and is finished in gel colour. Nail art is added per set: French, ombre or cat eye from $20, custom designs from $10 depending on the design.
What is the difference between builder gel and acrylic?
Builder gel is a thick gel cured under a lamp. It flexes with the nail, is kinder to your natural nail and suits short to medium length. Acrylic is a liquid-and-powder system that sets hard, so it holds length and sculpted shapes better. Colour powder acrylic is a dip-style powder with the colour built in.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Book online to hold a seat. It takes under a minute through the Acuity calendar and you pick the service, day and time yourself. Walk-ins are welcome when a chair is free, which is easier on weekday mornings. To check the same day, call 0405 291 999.
How long does a full set take?
Enhancements take 45 minutes. A manicure runs 15 to 35 minutes depending on the tier, a pedicure 25 to 45, and a manicure and pedicure together 40 minutes to an hour. Add 10 to 20 minutes for nail art and 10 minutes if an old set needs removing first.
Can Glam House do a custom design from Instagram?
Yes. Send the design to Glam House Caringbah on Instagram before your appointment so the artist can plan it. Custom design starts at $10 and is priced by how detailed it is, on top of your set. Chrome, 3D florals, crystals and hand-painted work are the house specialities.
Do you remove old gel or acrylic before a new set?
Yes. Shellac removal is $10 and builder gel or acrylic removal is from $20, each about 10 minutes. Add removal when you book your new set so the time is allowed for, and never pick or peel a set off at home, it takes layers of natural nail with it.
What are the opening hours at Glam House Caringbah?
Open seven days. Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9am to 5pm. Thursday is the late night, 9am to 7pm. Sunday 9am to 4pm. The last booking of the day should start early enough to finish before close, so a 45 minute set on a Sunday books by 3pm.
Where is Glam House and how do I get there?
Suite 1A, 347 Port Hacking Road, Caringbah NSW 2229, on the strip just south of the Kingsway. It is a short walk from Caringbah station and there is street parking along Port Hacking Road and the side streets. Use the directions link on this page for the fastest route.
Does Glam House do lashes?
The sign reads Nail, Lash, Mastery, and lash services are not on the online menu yet. Call 0405 291 999 or ask in store when you are in for your nails and the team will let you know what is available and when.
